IGSD International works to advance human health, environmental protection, sustainable development, peace, and security. The foundation focuses on improving governance, implementation, and compliance with environmental and sustainability rules and laws.

We work for the public benefit and operate only for charitable and educational purposes.

The foundation’s aims are to:

• Promote education, research, and capacity-building on governance and sustainable development.
• Strengthen the rule of law, transparency, and accountability in environmental governance.
• Provide information, analysis, and training to governments, civil society, universities, and other actors.
• Facilitate cooperation and dialogue across countries and levels of government to advance these goals.
• Support stronger implementation and enforcement of environmental and climate agreements.

The foundation does not aim to make a profit, and its assets may not exceed what is reasonably required to conduct its work.
